Creating a retirement home where residents may continue to enjoy their best days and optimize their overall health is one of the primary goals of Valley Comfort Care Home. In maintaining this assisted living environment, challenges may seldomly present themselves. Our experienced and professional staff have the capability of caring for our residents with the pursuit of optimization in care and quality of life.

We understand that both families and residents may go through transitional periods and experience varying emotions We are here to assist and support the residents and their loved ones in this transition to kupuna care.

Experienced Care Team

We take pride in having an experienced care team who are dedicated and well-versed in providing exceptional support for our residents. Our team members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, having spent years in the field of caregiving. They are not only highly trained, but compassionate, ensuring that our residents receive the best care possible. Their commitment to delivering individualized care and their ability to adapt to the unique needs of each resident sets our care team apart, offering peace of mind to both residents and their families.

All of our staff hold minimum designations of LPN, or Licensed Practical Nurse, with some having additional certifications. Our staff members have all worked in the nursing field for a minimum of 2 years before coming to Valley Comfort Care Home where they received additional, specialized training by the owner in order to suit the needs of our residents.

Leadership

The director of nursing, Reina Mae Medalla RN MSN, brings experience and a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. She has completed a Masters degree in Nursing Administration and has held various nursing positions that are pertinent to assisted living and senior care. Her dedication to providing top notch care, strong leadership qualities, and genuine compassion make her an invaluable asset in ensuring the highest standards of care within the care home. Her strong nursing skills, clinical education, and valuable experience will aid towards providing effective leadership, daily oversight of care, and operations.
